I’m a qualified teacher based in Garsdale, Cumbria with more than 20 years of tutoring experience. My tuition spans a variety of ages, from 6 to adult, both in the UK and overseas. I also teach a growing number of home educated children. Although I qualified in year 6 at a primary school in Sussex, I have extensive experience in the secondary sector and have been an examiner for both SATs and GCSE. In addition, I can provide assistance with preparation for 11 and 13 + , common entrance and scholarship exams.

Educated in Mathematical Sciences at Oriel College, Oxford, mathematics is my speciality. I also offer science, R.E. and English and have experience in SEND. Whether you want to obtain that elusive grade 9 or simply improve your skills, I can provide individually tailored tuition for your (or your child’s) specific needs.

Whilst not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my teenage children, Izzie and Andrew. I also have a black labrador, Bella, and 4 cats - Jasmine, Lexie, Fern and Brian. I love walking, music, sports (paticularly hockey and swimming) and cooking.

Hi, I'm Emma. I live in Spain with my 18 year old daughter where I'm currently teaching English as a Foreign Language. I teach English Language & Literature, English as a Foreign Language, Art/Art History and Religious Studies. 

I offer online tuition for all ages and abilities, using a variety of resources and teaching methods to keep students enthusiastic and engaged in learning.

I enjoy reading, cooking and swimming in my spare time and have started learning Spanish. I love hanging out with my daughter and exploring the rich culture and beautiful surroundings of Castellon province in eastern Spain.

With more than 15 years experience working in both the private and state sectors, I specialise in teaching both English and drama at GCSE and A-level. In addition, I also teach LAMDA, working for Articulate, a drama school and agency in Yorkshire. Originally from Northern Ireland and educated at Trinity College, Dublin, I am now based in Sedbergh, Cumbria. I offer on-line teaching so you can learn from the comfort of your own home.
